Privacy Policy

RedsDeals is designed to work without accounts and without tracking you. This page explains what little information is involved when you use the site.

Information we collect

• No accounts. The public site has no sign-up, login, or profile. We do not ask for your name, email, or any other personal details.
• Server logs. Like any website, our hosting provider records standard request data such as your IP address, browser type, the pages requested, and timestamps. These logs are used for security and to keep the site running, and are retained only briefly.
• Search terms. Searches you run are processed to return results and are not stored against you.

Cookies

The site sets only preference cookies, which contain no personal information:

• redsdeals-dark: whether you chose light or dark mode.
• redsdeals-sort and redsdeals-view: your preferred sort order and list or grid view.

We do not use advertising cookies or analytics trackers. You can clear these cookies in your browser at any time; the site will simply revert to its defaults.

Third parties

• Cloudflare hosts the site and serves its images. Cloudflare may process request data to deliver content and protect against abuse. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
• Reddit. Deals link back to their original Reddit posts. Reddit's own policies apply once you leave this site.
• Retailers and affiliate links. When you follow a deal link, the retailer, including Amazon through its Associates program, may set its own cookies to attribute the visit. See our affiliate disclosure.

Content from Reddit

The site displays information from public Reddit posts, including post titles and the Reddit usernames of the people who posted them. If you posted a deal and would like it removed from RedsDeals, contact us with the link.

Children

The site is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page will be updated.
